One of the many benefits for an event entertainer is the great possibility of a free meal.  When you factor in traveling distance, set-up time, 5 hours of DJ/Emcee service and tear-down time, a Wedding DJ will work an 8-10 hour day.  While it is not expected that the event feeds the entertainment, it is always much appreciated.

Looking back the 100+ Weddings that we have provided quality DJ/Emcee services for, one particular celebration comes to mind when visualizing the "perfect meal".

In the summer of 2005, at the beautiful Nonantum Resort in Kennebunkport, Maine, DJ Danny was spoiled with a dinner buffet of "lazy lobster" tails and claws, lobster stew, prime rib, twice-baked potatoes, many salad dishes and even a fresh baked bread oven!

The cocktail hour that preceded this amazing buffet consisted of bacon-wrapped scallops, shrimp cocktail, crab stuffed mushrooms, beef and chicken teriyaki, vegetable platter, cracker and cheese platter with assorted seafood cocktail dips.

There was an "open bar" throughout the evening with Dom Perignon Champagne supplied to all guests for the best man's toast…

Overall, my closest experience to a PLATINUM WEDDING.
