Last night Maine Disc Jockey Danny DeBruin trekked north to Lewiston as the Lewiston Maineiacs hosted the St. John Sea Dogs at the Androscoggin Bank Colisee in Lewiston, Maine.

It was one of those nights for the Maineiacs. Jonathan Bernier made his return to Lewiston but nothing went right for the team in front of him as the Sea Dogs prevail 3-1.

The only bright spot for the offense was Alex Beaton scoring his second of the season shorthanded at 5:15 of the first. Saint John took over from there and had goals from Payton Liske and Christopher DiDomenico and took a one goal lead to the dressing room.

In the second, the last goal that would count was scored by the Sea Dogs by Steven Anthony at 12:31. In the third, Stefan Chaput seemed to have scored but the goal was disallowed due to the net being dislodged. A short time later an early wihistle cost Marc-Andre Daneau a goal as he lifted a loose puck over Saint John goaltender Robert Meyer. Meyer gets the win for the Sea Dogs stopping 21 of 22 Lewiston shots. Bernier stops 16 of 19 shots in the loss.

Thank you to Sales and Marketing Director Marc Gosselin for the great seats and the fun atmosphere.
