Last night from 6:30pm – 8:30pm at the Walton School gym in Auburn, Maine, New England Disc Jockey Danny DeBruin performed for 100 children and their parents in the annual Halloween Harvest Dance.
Popular music requests like Sponge Bob, Barney, High School Musical Cast, Hannah Montana, and the Jonas Brothers were played during the event. A father/daughter dance, mother/son dance and "Costume March" highlighted the evening.
All children had an opportunity to "guess how many candy corns" were in the glass jar. The winner guessed 1,550 and the jar contained 1,576! The other contest was "guess the weight of the pumpkin". Five children were right on the money, guessing 25 pounds which was the exact weight.
Thank you to Stephanie Lewis and all the parent volunteers who helped make this Harvest Dance one to remember! This was our largest turnout yet and we can't wait until next year!
