Maine Wedding DJ Danny DeBruin performed in Boothbay Harbor on Saturday night for the Wedding Reception of John Daubert and Gabrielle Winkley.
A light mist fell at the 6:00pm Ceremony; however, this didn't spoil the view -a picturesque backdrop of Boothbay Harbor. A generator at the Ceremony location provided the power supply for a 4-piece Christian band (artists whom the Groom, John, a musician, has gotten to know well over the years). Their music provided inspirational messages throughout the ceremony.
After the 1/2 Ceremony, guest filtered into the Reception Tent, adjacent to the Ceremony Location while the Wedding posed for pictures overlooking the harbor.
The Reception began at 7:00pm with introductions of the Wedding Party, followed by a blessing by the father of the groom.
Dinner was very "Italian" with a number of pasta dishes, full antipasta offering with 3 or 4 large homemade Italian loafs of bread.
An emotional slide show in memory of Gabrielle's father followed the dinner, as she shared a dance with her Grandfather Henry.
John followed with a dance with his mother, Melissa.
Dancing and Celebration filled Boothbay Harbor until 11:00pm, when the bride and groom were sent-off in a "Tunnel of Sparklers" outside the Tent.
Many thanks to John, Gabrielle and all their families and friends who attended in Celebration. I wish both of you a lifetime of happiness together.
