Hello! My name is Dan DeBruin, owner of DeBruin Entertainment, a Southern, ME based disc jockey business serving the New England region. I am a college educated, music enthusiast who holds a degree in Communications with a minor in Business Administration and Management.
For eight years (1999 - 2007) I had been the owner of Maine's infamous "Un-Kommon DJ's". As of September 1st, 2007, I have established a new identity as "DeBruin Entertainment". As a graduate of the “Mobile DJ Mix Academy” in Chelmsford, Massachusetts, I possess the music mixing talent to create smooth and effective transitions throughout your event. Many of the aging “old school” DJ’s are not skilled in music mixing. They simply fade out the volume from one track and then slowly begin the next track, which stops the dancing between songs. Because of this DJ Academy training, I have the ability to “beat match” dance songs together, so one song mixes seamlessly into the next and there are no pauses between tracks. This "new school" disc jockey approach means uninterrupted celebration at your next event!
In addition to an entertainer’s musical talents, I feel their personality and presentation are the secret ingredients to successfully facilitate an event. You will not hear me tell jokes, plug my company, or make any needless comments. As your Master of Ceremonies and Musical Host, I will bring the professional atmosphere that every event should have.
